Your homepage doesn’t say what you sell.
Your hero says “Crafted with care since 2019” — beautiful, but a first-time visitor can’t tell if you’re a bakery, a furniture shop, or a wedding venue.
Visitors decide whether to stay or leave in about 5 seconds. If they can’t name what you sell in that window, most will bounce — and Google notices.
Replace the hero headline with a single sentence that names what you sell and who it’s for. Example: “Sourdough loaves & wedding cakes, baked daily in Oakland.” In Squarespace: Pages → Home → click the hero block → edit text.
